Staffing with Skill, Integrity, and Heart
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (DSP) SERVICES
Credentialed DSPs Ready to Serve Ohio's DODD-Certified Providers
Golden Connection Staffing Group connects DODD-certified provider agencies across Ohio with Direct Support Professionals who are credentialed, vetted, and ready to serve. We are nurse-led, which means every DSP we place is verified through the same rigorous, RN-supervised process we built our reputation on. When you partner with us, you keep your focus on the individuals you serve while we carry the weight of recruiting, credentialing, and scheduling.
The Golden Connection Difference
Nurse-Led Credentialing
Every DSP is verified under RN supervision, not by a recruiter working from a checklist.
We confirm each credential at the primary source and track recertification dates so coverage never lapses.
Fast Crisis Response
Staffing gaps do not wait, and neither do we.
Choose the tier your situation demands: Standard 72-hour, Priority 24-hour, or Crisis under-four-hour response.
Person-First Culture
We train every DSP to honor dignity, autonomy, and self-determination.
The individuals you serve lead their own lives; our professionals support those choices with skill and heart.
Who We Serve
We partner with DODD-certified provider agencies of every size and setting across Ohio. Wherever individuals with developmental disabilities are supported, we can supply the credentialed professionals who help your programs run.
Our Staffing-Only Model
Golden Connection Staffing Group is a healthcare staffing agency, not a DODD-certified provider. We supply qualified Direct Support Professionals to DODD-certified provider agencies who retain full responsibility for Individual Service Plans, behavior support plans, clinical supervision, MUI/UI reporting to DODD, and Medicaid waiver billing. This separation lets you focus on individual outcomes while we handle the recruiting, credentialing, and scheduling pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We only place DSPs at DODD-certified providers. The certified provider retains all DODD responsibility for the individuals served.
We manage all credentialing, scheduling, and payment, so you receive a ready-to-work professional without the administrative load.
The DODD-certified provider files MUI/UI reports with DODD. GCSG DSPs are mandatory reporters under ORC 5123.61 and must immediately notify the provider supervisor; the provider then files with DODD.
Through an RN-led credentialing process: every required database check, primary-source verification of each credential, and ongoing recertification tracking so nothing lapses mid-assignment.
Only DSPs certified in Medication Administration Categories 1, 2, or 3 may do so. We mark each DSP's certifications on their profile so you always know what they are cleared to perform.
No. GCSG bills the provider agency directly on Net 15 terms. The provider, as the certified entity, bills Medicaid waivers.
